What is Thai Massage?
Thai massage is all about integrating full body stretches into a massage. It incorporates acupressure, working with Eastern elemental balancing, and opening up energy lines on the body to facilitate healing.
Clients are fully clothed and lay on thick foam mats on the floor rather than a traditional table massage. The client is massaged through their clothing and stretched into different yoga-like poses that are part of a massage routine that can be altered to meet the clients needs. Clothing is kept on to facilitate getting the client into deep stretches without the worry of keeping sheets over sensitive or private areas like in a Swedish Massage. It is expected that the client wears clothing, so make sure to wear comfortable gym or yoga clothes for your session.
